In collaboration with Mid-South Gifted Academy, NuVu is excited to co-host the first Innovation Accelerator, empowering K-12 educators to implement transformative strategies that inspire deeper learning in every classroom. This two-day hands-on workshop is built to jumpstart design and innovation within the education practice. With a robust curriculum of design activities, pedagogical foundations, and practical application strategies, participants will leave inspired and poised to be change agents, bringing innovation into their schools, and skills, agency and inspiration to their students.

Who should attend?

The Innovation Accelerator is specifically geared toward K-12 educators, including teachers, innovation directors, STEM/STEAM coaches, technology coordinators, R&D directors, department heads, and administrators.

Is this PD eligible for CEU credit?

Yes.

Can a cohort of teachers come from my school?

Yes, absolutely! We love having groups of teachers come to experience the Accelerator together!

Are there scholarships available?

We currently do not offer a scholarship fund. However, please reach out to us if you are interested in attending but the cost is prohibitive and we’ll see what we can do.

What are the expected outcomes of this PD experience?

• Learn about NuVu’s studio model and our framework of innovation
• Experience hands-on problem solving using the iterative design process
• Collaborate with others to design a project with the support of NuVuX Experts
• Acquire quick prototyping and fabrication skills
• Spark ideas for how NuVu's framework for innovation can be applied in your classroom, curriculum, school, or organization
